Technically impeccable Virginian MC Edison Av (U.S) teams up once again with one of Leicester City's top Hip Hop beat makers Sik Sense (U.K) for a follow up to their 2017 debut EP, In The Weeds.


Starting from where the first record left off almost instantly, Above The Ground holds your hand on a sight seeing tour of the progression made in their lives since. Showcasing the developed mind state acquired over time, experiences and understanding of the world needed to traverse your own individual dimension.


Skipping along the beats is Edison Av who seems to level up every time he finishes a notebook and whose elegant poise in flow and masterful delivery get the most out the music in which they inhabit. Technically clean, an ounce of sarcasm and mean streak of quotables hit the message home. Sik Sense with the assist delving deep into the record bag to garnish the album with his staple boom bap style infusing samples, live instruments, breaks and what ever noise makes a track grab that nugget of a head you've got and swing it back and forth.


Though not officially a group the pair are true Fugitive 9 affiliates (Hip Hop group from V.A) and bring that gritty style in the smoothest possible way. Collectively showing a natural balance and understanding in their work that most rapper/producer acts can only dream of.
